Zaporizhia is rightfully considered to be the cradle of our freedom and independence, fatherland of great people, who grew up on the territory of Tavria, on the banks of great Dnieper, which bathes legendary island of Khortytsia. That heritage is the patrimony of the whole country and whole world.
Modern Zaporizhia is the city of great opportunities, one of the centers of development of economic, technical and intellectual potential of Ukraine.
I would like to thank all those, who have created the history of the city: representatives of the older generation, war and labor veterans.
This day I wish all residents of Zaporizhia peace, welfare, optimism, confidence in own abilities and inspiration.
